top of the morning to you. Its a great day to be above the ground. smile Sun is shining. Blue sky.

we stayed at sale showground and there r rabbits hopping around.

greyhound racing is there so strop n i had a day out. Great lunch n front seats with view of racing dogs. Bet $3 n won $3. The dog was winning for three quarters of the way n when he rounded the corner he went too wide and came in 3rd. We had a great afternoon.

strop asked me to give him a haircut. We were talking with rockylizard n i was not paying attention was cutting the back of his  hair straight at the bottom. All done looks good. Strop wanted a beard trim but i forgot to change blades n i started on his beard. Oops. Bit of a bald area now. Never mind said strop it will grow back In a few days. Talk about laugh.strop.JPG

Bingo was also on at the hall. Ahh. Another day out. Did not win but had an enjoyable day. Strop went to the airforce base to watch the planes. We could also see them from our caravan Training, doing loops.

we were in sale about 2weeks. Best time for making friends n happy hours.

Next stop rosedale free camp. Spent two days here. apple trees n blackberries were growing. someone told us not to eat the blackberries because they get spreyed. Crayfish in the river as well I was told.

note to self, never go to a free camp on a long weekend. Young people set up their camp then heaps more came n  put up 2 man tents in between the caravans n  Then even more came in cars n were parked out on the road. They were there to party hard. had no regard for all the other peopke there n at 3am a guy went over n said a few words, not nicely, n they shut up.

Next stopped for a break at a day camp near the caldermeade dairy. A busload of drunk young men got out and urinated on the trees in full view of the main highway. We left.

visited the caldermeade dairy. the viewing room was upstairs n we looked through a glass wall at the milking. The cows were on a carousel. They got on n the carousel went right n when they got back they were milked n got off. Was amazed at how happy the cows were to get in n b milked. This was free.

Off to berwick showgrounds. Stayed here a few weeks. We had lots to do.

markets were on every sunday n the jam donuts are hot n very yummy.

we went to jayco n did a tour of the factory. They employ 1100people. Never seen anything so huge. They even had seamstresses making the curtains n fly screens. i was wondering how they checked for leaks on the finished product n there it was , a huge shed with spreying water from all angles. Recommend this tour to anyone visiting melbourne. It was free. I was so impressed.

Next, off to the flower show. Omg. It was beautiful. Even got given a sample bag from stihl power tools. In it was a hat n a keyring of a man carrrying a chain saw. Grandson loved that.

Well done Rocket. Spent many hours at Caldermead with bus tours in a previous life. I lived not far south of there, about 45 mins.

Looks like Strop spent time just 'hang'n around'.

Interesting read Rocket. My uncle had one of the first carousal type milking machines in Victoria back in the day. Their farm was at Tarwin Lower.

When I have a hair cut I always find I get hair falling down my back and means having to have a shower to get rid of the itching. Will try strops way next time. Will fall straight on the fall. Problem solved.

Hi Rocket. Good story. When I do Mr D's hair, I just don't tell him of the bits that I miss or take too much off. He never notices anyway. AT least I get to spend the $$$ of me instead of us. We watched a carousel milk up on the Atherton tablelands last month at Gallos Dairy. Very interesting and entertaining to watch.
