Good reading RL. We have not spent a lot of time in VIC but I am building up a list of things to do and places to go, and you have certainly added to that list today. Thanks

Gawd - he had such a piercing, blood-curdling growl cry Lucky he decided to go home for a beer.

John, great trip there. I went to every single place you did during March /April. (and a lot more) I was wondering who it was following me around. smile  Many nice places to visit in western Victoria.

We did almost the same trip a couple of years ago although we didn't do the Grampians. I cant walk well enough to scramble over rocks and rough terrain. I think as kids we climbed and walked over quite a bit of the Grampians. Great story. Watchem Lake is a great place to camp.

Great read John. And pictures. I worked at Watchem in around 1980 at Bank there. Lived at pub while I was there. Had a space invaders machine that was very popular. Tuesday afternoons we would head up the road to Birchip to play 9 holes of golf. Was my first time playing on sand greens.

You have stirred some great memories for me. Thanks. Cant wait to see that area of Vic again.
