Last I heard they were sitting at Waverly Creek rest area just south of St Lawrence NTH QLD. I hope they made a run for it and headed much further north to maybe Cairns.

Doug, a couple of days ago I read a post from them that they were in Mackay and heading for Moranbah.

We are hitched up if we need to move quickly if need be, plus it gives more strength to the van in high winds. Have increased the weight of the van by filling up the water - extra 300 kg there.

Good to hear you got out of the way DM. I am sitting it out for now on the central north NSW coast and hope to move further up by the weekend.

If it wasn't for the need of keeping in contact with my daughter in Townsville I wouldn't even know there is trouble brewing further up the coast as sun is shining and quite hot around here. The humidity is now not that far away, me thinks.


Keep Safe on the roads and out there. Don't take any nonsense from Debbie as well, she is full of wind but packs a mighty big punch.
