When we are on holiday with my son
When ever we stop for lunch and morning tea
He is off geocaching
And is doing very good at it
We are going to Camrons Courner next month and would you believe
There's even one there
We have been caching since 2013. We are now up to almost 1300 finds now, (did you know there are 14 caches hidden in Muttaburra?)
As Poppy Sore Eyes says, great way to explore areas that you may not have visited. Who would have thought that Muttaburra would have 14!!! We have met fellow cachers in Tasmania from Western Australia, and have since bumped into them in Mt Isa - Barcaldine.... Another we met in Tassy passed us twice on the Stuart Highway, once heading north, then again heading south. What fun.

DUNMOWIN is no longer on the road and still DUNMOWIN!
Both Marion and I geocache, and indeed run two caches ourselves in WA (Wild Hospital and Mini Train). Only do it on an occaisional basis, and we are hopeless at finding micro's however so only have just over 100.
Have to say our favorite on has to be in a mural in Singapore - camoflauge was perfect - took us three attempts even with photos!
To be precise, geocaching is an on-line, world wild treasure hunt. Go to www.geocaching.com and read all about it. It is a great outdoor, easy activity for grey nomads, some use geocaching as their "tour guide". A great hobby to take overseas.
We are currently in Muttaburra, Queensland where there are 14 hides in and around town. We have found 13 so far, one more tomorrow, an interesting multi in a cemetery. What else is there to do in Muttaburra.

I'm with you Dickodownunder sounds like pokermon to me too even if it has been around longer it still sounds like pokermon, or perhaps we should say that pokermon sounds like geocaching ?
