Crochet & Knitting

let's see what lovely works are done/underway on the road! I have brought about 25 projects with me for 3½ months. Not excessive, surely?

I have posted previously, but this crocheted tartan rug was donated by me to a nursing home in Bright Victoria. It was crochet while on the road. Currently (or still) working on the next one.

I've made a few beanies and beanie and scarf sets to sell. I'm in Darwin atm but moving on to NSW where I might sell a few since it cold there now. Hope so cause I've taken them on a trip Round the Block with me.

Hi Jaytee
These were so easy to make, the layout/shape is from a pattern but not exactly as each neck is a little different, I did a bit of tweaking and I have used different patterns and hooks for each each one. As you probably know crocheting something like this is to make it fit to size an item like a Tshirt......Gosh I hope you understand that? biggrin
Will send the pattern shortly.
H

Just finished Mick's 2016 Collingwood jumper.

He's getting old and arthritic so I like his shoulders and hips warm.

sorry for my tardy reply, the rocket, I forgot to turn notification turned on until I was just browsing the forum. I'm needing to get more supplies in, not enough yarn or tea towels. As we head south I might do some beanies, what a great idea. I made myself the prototype of what I call "takeaway coffee cup cosy". Also loop scarves (some in cool cotton), hanging tea towels and water bottle coolers (well to keep bottle a bit cooler, don't want it cosy, it's been quite warm travelling in north Qld).

Hi, you all have superb things you make on the road. I've bought the crochet hooks, I have wool/cotton and washers to go around the edges and a "How to" book. Hope to do a couple weeks, at least, trip in September Wish me luck.
