North West WA (Warlu Way) Port Hedland

Who says there is nothing to do at Port Hedland???

Port Hedland Sefares Centre Harbour Tours.

Ferrying seafarers to and fro from the massive tankers looking after them while in Port by the Seafarers Organisation. They conduct these tours based on tides and allow the general public to cruise a lap of the harbour while dropping off workers.

Tours are subject to tides but contact the Seafarers Centre for times and costs are $45 per adult(senior). Very informative presentation and on board commentary.

Check the pics.

Also note that the Staircase to the Moon can be seen from Port Hedland across the mudflats that is usually associated with Broome. Full Moon and dates can be obtained from Info Centre but will be the same as Broome.

Check the Pics.

Caravan Park accommodation can be via the free camp but if not operating Black Rock CP at South Hedland for $20- unpowered.
