Paul [My Van], take note.  Some of you may already have this Item.  I just bought one today.

Duratech Mini Hand Drill/ Grinder.  It's the same as a Dremel, only smaller, and 12 V.

From Jaycar, at $29.99, it's a handy little unit for on the road I thought.
