An update on fitting LED (driving) light bars

Gday...

I came across this information and thought I would share it. It would seem some progress is being made in allowing the fitting of LED light bars to vehicles.

I still can't see how my six pairs of LED lights contained in a light bar goes against existing rules?

Because as yet they have not classified these type of lights. Is your's a 12 ledlight light, a 6 pr ledlight, or 12 lights in a container making it 1 light.

Until this is resolved there can be no headway.

It's 12 LED elements, each with separate parabolic reflectors mounted in a protective housing that's the point I'll argue anyway. And if some grumpy cop won't have it, then it will have to be disabled (temporarily)

The law states that all lights have to be installed in pairs on the front of the tug

Maybe that clears it up for you Troopy

As we all know, the light bars are becoming popular in recent times. I had just fitted a 7 inch Epistar led light bar to My 4WD & it's a perfect fit to the vehicles.
