And that's not to mention the new menace, DRONES. These things with their sneaky little cameras hovering above our properties are removing any privacy from our backyards.
Technology is way too quick for the law makers these days. It's about time these things were banned from suburbia.
I live in a rural area where it is not uncommon to see neighbours from a kilometre or more away carrying a firearm to do some job on the farm. I wonder what would happen if one of these spy in the sky was shot down?
just a thought.

Hi all. And a well thought out thought, well I thought so anyway Frank. As one who spends a fair bit of my time in rural areas and have a phobia about my privacy being invaded by one of these gizmos I think I am perfectly within my rights to use said gizmo for target practise. SOOoooo if you, or anybody you know, has or is contemplating getting one of these things please lodge a flight plan with me if in my area so I know who to bill for the cost of the ammo. Cheers. Ps Frank if I shoot one it wall fall back to earth I am sure.

I reckon it would be just about impossible for anyone to shoot down one of these drones - some are no bigger than a pigeon - they are not sitting ducks. I'd also imagine that the person operating the drone would pretty quickly observe someone on the ground with a rifle and take evasive action.
