Kings Park Festival - Perth - 1st to 30th September 2014

It's on again, a good way to see lots of wildflowers without travelling the distances, also other activities, see;

Kings Park is one of my favorite spots.

In my last couple of working years I traveled to Perth every 5 weeks or so.

Arriving in Perth after dark, I would have the taxi divert to the top of Kings Park to let me gaze out over the city lights.  A beautiful site.  A Sunday afternoon stroll thru the park was another regular joy.

Helped make the regular trip from Brisbane bearable.

Been a few times rocket, alternate between there and the wildflower circuits in the country, will be satisfied with the GTG at Sufils this year and whatever flowers are around there.smile

Kings park as Cupie says is a beaut place to visit, day or night whatever the time of the year. smile

Fantastic, look forward to seeing them. smile

For those who might visit Kings Park while in Perth, make sure you visit the War Memorial.

As well as fantastic views of Perth and South Perth, just in front of the Eternal Flame at the War Memorial there are two sections of curved concrete seating.   Both of these sections act as a "Whispering Wall", sit an end with another at the other end and the whispers travel from one end to the other.   You can use either of the two sections for this. smile
