If i bought a an Isuzu D-Max then fitted a Climax Suspension Lift Kit, non factory bull bar, side steps, dual battery, snorkel, custom made canopy with boat rack etc would I void the 5 year warranty

not totally
anything fitted afterwards is covered by the warranty issued by the seller/fitter of the non genuine part
and if it can be proved that any failure was caused by the fitting of non genuine item you have problems
by the same token if the radio failed (for example) then Isuzu would still be responsible for the repair

Hey Hendo
The other thing is just make sure that any extra you fit - or have fitted
still complies with safety ratings and/or ANCAP rating for that vehicle.

My son just purchased an all Black Dmax LS T with all the extras which will be add by the time of pickup.
They got the cranks at having to remove all the transfer badges and labels - he just wanted plain black - everything.
The Xrox Bullbar - we checked has the Air Bag Safety (ABS) compliant but its not fully 5 star ANCAP rated.
Only the ARB bars are tested to be 5 star rated.
All the rest of the long list of extras, dont interfer with the ISUZU warranty as they are mostly all ISUZU & fitted
by the ISUZU dealer. (3 piece lid, rear sports bar, towbar, tint, side steps, 2" Lift kit, monster black 17" rims etc.
But that's the younger generation. Nice unit though.
Cheers
KT

Being new and being of the younger generation he will have plenty of time to keep his shiny "Black" toy clean.

Must look good though just the same.

Had a friend fit a lowering kit (pedders) to his daughters Honda and the Dealer stamped it an approved modification. The modification was excluded from warranty (pedders had their own) Ask the dealer AND get it in writing..... Spoke to Pedders and they said they were approved by all manufacturers.

Thanks Guys. Bought a 2012 D-Max on Monday with all the accessories I was looking at already fitted along with many more. I'll worry about warranty when and if I need it. Now to get the van sorted, then it's look out, another GN hits the road.
