scrub itches


confuse Anyone got a remedy to stop this bloomin itching.

Yes Mate just swab with metho after showering and get into clean gear. Bloody annoying I know as I used to get it often around the waistline when working in the scrub. Mate of mine used to take antihistamines for his.

I use pine tar lotion with menthol by Hamilton. Get in a chemist.

Just as well or I would be getting my shotgun out!

Back to my question, are the itches mentioned by the OP caused by mozzie or midgie bites or some other insect which is more what I am interested in.

On my last trip I was getting these itches and used a sorbolene cream to get some relief.  On a earlier trip I sprayed my legs with fly spray which gave me some relief as a quick fix while travelling.   In both cases I could not see any bites which is why I am asking whether they could be some sort of mite or burrowing insect?

DON't laugh, use you under arm roll on, not spray type, go on give it a try.

Vic41 they are tiny mites. Usually come from grassy areas.
