So excited, have to share. Yesterday purchased a motorised jockey wheel that was actually advertised across the top of this site. What a relief! We have a long drive, with a narrow gate. I used to stand with the walkie talkie and guide Stuart through. Today, no problem. Moved our 2500 kg van with ease and no

Are you able to video it in action? Have you tried it on loose surface or grassed areas? I would be interested in hearing more about your experience with it..
I have a Retreat Keppel which is around 2400kg loaded.
It only has a little way to move now into the carport, hubby was just checking the camera before putting it away. I will try to video it in the morning. We have only tried it this once in our drive. The manufacturer did say it was best on hard surfaces and may slip in wet, and is best under 20 deg gradient. We only needed if for the purpose of getting it into the carport as it is such a tight squeeze, it meets our needs but can't comment on different surfaces. I'll video tomorrow and give you a look.
Cheers Dianne

Thanks Dianne. I am considering one to get our van into a tight spot in our daughter's yard. It involves a small amount of grass. I have looked at the TrailerMover unit that has tracks that seem to work well io loose surfaces but it is very heaven and quite expensive. I am looking at all options before outlaying the money.
We too had looked at the other options, but very expensive for what we wanted it for. I haven't a clue how it would go on grass. You could ring the company, they seemed open and honest about what it would and wouldn't do.
Re delivery, it was very flukey. The mans parents live a couple of streets from us, so he bought it the night we ordered it and visited his mum.
thanks for your advice... yes, you are right about the price... $4000 for the TrailerMover is way too much for what I need too... and 30+Kg is very heavy... it would certainly never come in the car with us that is for sure... 23Kg is not too bad.
If you have a single axle caravan you can't go past the Purpleline brand of movers, cost around the $1500 mark, work on any surface. About a half days work to fit.
Good to hear you're happy with your attached mover Ken, however this one here only takes 2 minutes to fit and works really well ...also it can turn tandems 360 degrees on the spot. Caravanlover.
