I notice a lot of newer users are not using the search button for searching items of interest that may be in the older threads etc.

May I give the hint for them to click on "Search" on the dark blue line at the top to do so (but still ask for more updated info on a post, can use the same thread if you like).

Also, click "User Details" and adjust your settings so the newer and later posts will come to the top of recent postings etc.

Vic, I used the search facility yesterday, and it did not come up with what I was looking for.  A few years back, jeff the walker posted a post about walking across Australia from Byron Bay to Steep Point.  I wanted to go back to the thread but could not find it, despite searching on Jeff the walker, steep point, or Byron bay.  Any suggestions?  (PS Email notifications still not working.  you can send me an email if you wish)

I've noticed that too DM's, seems to only go back so far, maybe they have a time limit and are deleted from the system after that.

If that was Jeff Johnson there are a number of his walks shown on this list among others, see;
