Plendo wrote yesterday to say he was in Taree and could meet up for a chat, but I missed his PM cos I was offline for most of the day due to server probs. He'll be back in a week or two. Meanwhile, Bill12 wrote to say he's on his way down here and will pop in early Feb. And today? Well, today is a day that will go down in history. I finally got to meet two of the forum's legends and may I say this... they are excited people. Yes, excited! A bit loopy but... well... it does take all kinds. So which legends am I referring to? You might not recognize this bloke at first cos I've got a flash Nikon which has actually made him look half decent. Are you ready for this?

Still none the wiser? Maybe you'll recognize the better looking half of the legendary duo. In fact, I think this next pic is very sweet.

Note the halos above the heads, folks. What does that tell you about Billeeeeeee and Jules? Angelic, that's what. Seriously, I was most impressed with those two - two of the nicest peeps you'd ever wanna meet. And may I say this (got that from Billeeeeeee)? They're quite different to their forum personas - more so with Billeeeeeee than Jules, who's a sweetheart... one of those cuddly, motherly types the grandkids idolize. I half expected Billeeeeeee to launch into song and dance mode but he was quite subdued, and discussed a whole range of topics with an intellectual appreciation of life and world events I found most illuminating and entertaining. A clown he may be sometimes, but there's a pretty smart dude behind that mask.

"But what'll I do with my hands?" he kept asking as I wondered what, in fact, Billee's Conquest actually meant. "Show Jules how you really feel about her," I answered.

Hehe. BTW, PJ is across the road in the front yard of the house I rent here in Taree. A toy compared to Billeeeeeee's "monster". Nonetheless, he and Jules were quite taken with my little cubby house.

Anyway, it was an absolute pleasure to meet those two very excited people. We chatted for ages about all kinds of things in their rig, and there was hardly a pause. Billy took a couple of pics of me, which I'm dreading to see posted, but at least he didn't shove the camera up my hooter. You never quite know what that bloke has got up his sleeve.

"99% of people you meet on the road are wonderful," he said before he and Jules continued on their way. Well, let me say that if 99% of people are anything like Billeeeeeee and Jules, that'll do me.

Garry, 'let me say this'  smile  I haven't met anyone from this forum that aren't nice people, EVERY one of them are nice and I have met quite a few and I tell you that for free.

Gary - it was wonderful to meet you - hope all goes well, and you can get out there very soon. You will love it!

A really nice, person - heaps to talk about, a great sense of humour and very open. We will be seeing you again, that's for sure!!!

And your camera takes lovely photos!!!!
