Mt Robinson camp WA

That red dirt takes you back to the highway. We love this spot for overnighting and the fact that it is far enough of the main road to negate most of the traffic noise,

Another excellent camp about 60km south of Karijini Turnoff on Great Northern. (Loo, dump and covered seating) If you stop there do go for a walk along the stream bed in the the ravine cut into the mountain. I pulled it upon google earth and decided I had walked about half way along. There is also a rough road you can walk up above the camp that goes well up along the mountain.

Wow, sounds nice Vida, I like that red dirt road going off into the distance in the second image, inviting.

What a cool looking place! Love the view from the hill overlooking the camp area.

Nice shots and info Spida, will put that on my must stay list.  Thank you.

In the photo, is that a bitumen road in the middle leading into the camping spot or just packed down gravel from the traffic ?

It is bitumen. Called in there recently to use the dump point.

Another good spot to overnight is Albert Tognolini rest area which is 17 klms south of Auski Roadhouse. No facilities there though.
