Boomi NSW

hi all, left burren junction (rain and mud) and came up to boomi (boom eye) to the artesian spa at the community run caravan park, a really top spot, new amenities block, shop, spa pool, lap pool and todlers pool. you have to pay to get into the swimming area $4 per adult (2 sessions a day) but a week at a powered site for 2 is $138 per week including all the the "sparing" or $15 a night for powered site only, we are moving on tommorrow morning probably heading towards the mountains ??? see how we feel when the van is hitched up in the morning. the sunsets here are terrific, a small town of about 60 people, very friendly and helpful, all in all a very enjoyable stay, regards, gary

Went to Boomi on the way home from Darwin couple of weeks ago. Loved it!! We're going back there end of August for another soak. It's so quiet out there. No riff raff like at Burren or Pilliga bores, as you have to pay $4 to get in. That keeps them out. The amenities are brand new, as is the camp area. It's about 80klms north of Moree and about the same west of Goondiwindi, but beware there is no petrol to be had in town, as i found out. Just made it to Garah where we did get some. I tried to post some photos, but it was taking too long to upload, so I gave up. Pity too, as they were great shots of the pool.

Sounds like a great place to the visit - I will make a note for the future trip.
