Hey Rocket, carefull the blood doesn't rush to ya head. You might need to flip them upside down in your file then post. It happens sometimes but don't know why. Forum Gremlins maybe?

Washed the Cruiser and van down today. Beaut day for it in Brisbane, as it wS 24degrees and some cloud. No wind. Great to get those jobs done until next time. Its easier washing down a van made with the Alucobond (Composite panel for all those who dont know what Alucobond is)panels than the Allie sides and roof.

Hi Rocket,
Yes, mate. It is cold here and a cold westerly blowing which makes it seem colder with the windchill factor. Tow nights ago, we got down to 6 degrees. Coolangatta yesterday morning was 0.1 degree! Mate, cold enough to freeze the nuts off a tractor!

Hi dave1952,

yes, some are getting cold. We just left bundaberg qld n it is a bit chilly, but thats all.

Pleasant at calliope rest stop. Sign says beware of crocodiles. Now every time we stop there i am on the lookout.

vomits are going around. I follow the saying in the old ad wash ya hands jeffrey. Two years ago in this area, i got the vomits n 3 days in hospital. So i am cautious now. Not going anywhere near a shop.

Hi Rocket,
We went on a cruise in 2015 and the number of people who visit toilets and fail to wash their hands afterwards is quite alarming. My last opportunity to drive the porcelain convertible was last year, but nothing to do with gastro bugs. Found I was allergic to morphine in tablet form. Dunno why, but I seem to tolerate the injections when necessary so long as I dont try to end up vertical while still affected by it. Not fun! He wife and I carry and use personal hand sanitiser, which helps.
Yeah, Calliope does have a few mud geckos getting about. When I worked on the QCLNG gas pipeline, a large one was photographed cruising around in Gladstone Harbour. Excellentincentive to not go swimming up in that neck of the woods, so to speak.

All very quiet, Rocket. we went shopping today for our fortnightly shop and I fixed my son's Gerni. I can use it tomorrow to wash the van and cars down. Love to be able to get away for a trip but no dice at present. We do hope to get down to around Glen Innes in about six weeks or so.

Rocket hi, boo. Our mobile internet has not been to reliable, I get a read and thats about all.

Left Brisbane early June and headed sort of north then west, then east headed north again to Atherton Tablelands via some interesting places, Karumba, Undarra Volcanic Tubes, Chillagoe Caves and today we pull into Mission Beach on the coast and without a booking scored a caravan site 75 mtres from sea looking at Dunk Island. Now how long we stay here in this really el cheapo prime spot will depend on midgees or mozies. Sky is a clear picture, water blue as.

Davo hi New England should be good coming into spring, when it comes together enjoy.

Sounds good Radar. I will. Enjoy Mission Beach. If you have trouble with mozzies or midges, go to Big W and invest in a bottle of Vaseline Intensive Care with Aloe Vera. We were put onto it a few months ago and the mozzies and midges do not like it. I have tested it and it does work.

BTW, the Vaseline Intensive Care is the the green bottle. The other one seems to not have the aloe Vera.

Hi, I jumped out of bed this morning to witness a sunrise here at Wongaling Qld a beautiful 17degs.

My lady has not found any unattractive insects to ruin my day, so all good in that department, been into the office paid for 3 more nights, great value @ $30 a night including power and water.

Had a great day out touring about in the Nissan. The road wandered along near the Tully River up into the gorge.

Saw extreme water sports people playing in the kayaks, marked a beautiful camp spot down for later reference and then follow the river down to the sea at Tully Heads.
