smile Never let it be said that I was slow in coming forward, for a freebie smile

I was a bit late to pick the cowboy (Alan Ladd), and the singer (Everly Brothers)

Here is a cowboy and a singer combined

Sorry not John Wayne, Brian

This man really can sing, and when I was a boy, he was probably the king of the cowboys

As a clue, he was in plenty of cowboy movies in the forties, he was always the good guy, and had his own TV show in America, and he also had a famous horse

With that build-up, it had to be Roy Rogers.

Who do you have for us all

Roy Rogers (born Leonard Franklin Slye, November 5, 1911 - July 6, 1998) was an American singer and actor. He was one of the most popular Western stars of his era.
Known as the "King of the Cowboys", he appeared in over 100 films and numerous radio and television episodes of The Roy Rogers Show.
In many of his films and television episodes, he appeared with his wife, Dale Evans; his golden palomino, Trigger; and his German shepherd, Bullet.
His show was broadcast on radio for nine years and then on television from 1951 through 1957

Below is a video of his singing, when he was getting on in years, apparently he was very patriotic

Sure would Tony.  Your turn.  [I reckon that was close enough.]

John Robert Williamson AM (born 1 November 1945) is an Australian country music and folk music singer-songwriter multi-instrumentalist, television host and conservationist. Williamson usually writes and performs songs that relate to the history and culture of Australia, particularly the outback, in a similar vein to Slim Dusty and Buddy Williams before him. Williamson has released over fifty albums, ten videos, five DVDs, and two lyric books and has sold more than 4,000,000 albums in Australia.[1] His best known hit is "True Blue". On Australia Day (26 January) in 1992 Williamson was made a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) with the citation: "for service to Australian country music and in stimulating awareness of conservation issues". He has received twenty-six Golden Guitar trophies at the Country Music Awards of Australia, he has won three ARIA Music Awards for Best Country Album and, in 2010, was inducted into the related Hall of Fame

That is the man Sheba, who do you have for all of us

I would have put up a video of his most famous song, "Your the voice", but am having some problems uploading stuff

John Peter Farnham AO (born 1 July 1949) is an English-born Australian singer. Farnham was a teen pop idol from 1967 until 1979, billed then as Johnny Farnham, but has since forged a career as an adult contemporary singer. His career has mostly been as a solo artist, although he replaced Glenn Shorrock as lead singer of Little River Band from 1982 to 1985

In September 1986, his solo single "You're the Voice" peaked at No. 1 on the Australian singles charts. The associated album, Whispering Jack, held the No. 1 position for a total of 25 weeks and is the 2nd-highest-selling album in Australian history. Both the single and the album had top-ten success internationally, including No. 1 in Sweden.

How's this one ... Should be easy for Taswegians.

My fixed NBN on co-axis working OK as usual ...  but at 1/2 the speed of my similar priced pre NBN Telstra fixed Broadband on the same co-ax.  Go figure.
