I have an identical photo, the question mark was cos I just wanted to double check.....

So, back to our blossoming romance, this pic was taken in 1996, and Mr D was supposed to propose to me at this location (but did not) - another of our tours on our motorbike.img018.jpg

Should be an easy one, one I don't think has popped up on PTP.

Continuing along with the older pictures. This one has no romantic overtures but does reflect my last years in high school.

Where am I?

It shouldn't be to hard to guess.

Clue specific to Dunmowin: Suggest you go back to 2012, other information I have read on the forum puts you in the area.

Plain Truth wins the gold star, Marree is correct.

I have found a few newer pics and it has changed somewhat since my photo in 1967/68.

Take us on one of your journeys Plain Truth.

It is Chambers Pillar in the NT, except that now the path is a series of steps and there is a steel walkway around the base of the pillar blade. Utterly awesome place when you stand at the base of the blade and look over the countryside and realise that people WALKED this country laying out the overland telegraph line whereas now, we drive there in air conditioned 4WD luxury. "The Good Old Days!!!"
