That's the one Dunmowin, when we lived in Belgrave we could see it go past on the other side of the valley.

Where to now?

Long way from Kuranda, but in the right state. Oddly enough, three of the carriages originally came from the Kuranda Rail

YTes, we do Warwick to Wallangara, Warwick to Clifton, (monthly) Toowoomba to Wyreema during carnival of flowers, Warwick to Goondiwindi three days.

One of our frequent passengers told me we were have the longest rail routes of all the heritage trains. We are lucky tho, that we have access to Queensland Rail lines, and they maintain them as they also use them.

Was supposed to do Wallangarra trip yesterday, but was cxld by QR due to weather. No one could get into Warwick anyway!

Hi Dunmowin.

Sometime soon we must take a train ride with you both.

ps, I was going to stay out of that one but in the end I could not help myself. Sorry.

Here is another great long weekend memory.

Enjoy. If you ride a bike you could enjoy it more.

It was an easy one, cos we camped there and walked over the bridge. Pretty spot. Quiet spot for an overnighter.

There was also a great spot to camp near this beach called ??DSCF3652.JPG

Cuttlefish artwork and blue water in the background. My guess is Whyalla, SA.
A couple of years ago, went looking at the real cuttlefish, underwater near Point Lowly, just up the road from Whyalla.

I vaguely remember seeing the dam, more so the spillway and now after checking Wikicamps, we had lunch there in 2019 when we were spending time at Victor Harbour.

That had me thinking.
