Hi Bob, are you at Sandstone, I did a goldfields trip with my brother (see photo) a year ago, saw many great antiques, but must admit I do not remember seeing this beauty.  Gwynnie floating.gif

Hi Gwynnie,

Yes, on the money with Sandstone. Great little town between Leinster and Mt Magnet, part of the Golden Way drive of all the old mining towns in WA. Well done.

Cheers Bob

Hi Doug, sorry mate it is not in Victoria.  The location if this township is on the mid north coast NSW in WW2 and designated for emergency landings.   The airstrip is a heritage listed site.

HINT:  The sculpture commemorates the local Volunteer Defense Corps (VDC) operating from the airstrip in question during World War II. Gwynnie floating.gif

Mmmm, not sure why I even thought Boort, Gwynnie as the background is nothing like there. A seniors moment I put it down to.

After a good second look at the pic and the background it sort of got my memory ticking over. I heard that down the back!

Ok then I'll take you all on a journey to this relaxing spot in the playground,

Um, let me see.

It's a lovely cool spot on a hot day but the water is a little chilly, has running water and a lovely pool. NO camping though. Oh! It's not in the 'wild west'. Stunning area though. IMO.

Mmmm, well Bob, ya can't go much further south BUT ya don't need to cos ya need to head in a northerly direction. Maybe a few days travel will be needed too. In your case of Tassie you will need to take a trip on the good ship 'Spirit' as well.

You are correct with the chilly water too cos it was on the day I was there. But that running water over the edge was niiiiice over the bod.

Sorry Bob, no cupie doll sorry.

You are way too South now. Get out of NSW.

I will see about a bigger clue next time. MAYBE biggrin

The Blue Mountains are a nice area though. I have spent a few days around there.

Sorry Jeff and Rae no cupie doll for you either.

I must admit it does look similar though but Danger Falls is still in NSW. You need to head north out of NSW.

I have been told that Chris Hemsworth (Actor) has a Yacht he keeps near by to my pic. A local told me but I can't confirm that it is correct.

That said, keep in mind you need to get out of NSW.

Sorry all, no winners still.

Looks like I might need to narrow things down a bit so,

It's between Townsville and Rockhampton. A place near by was badly hit by Cyclone Debbie a couple of years back. It's not the climate that's cold, just the swimming hole.

I am asking for the name of the falls not the near by town.

That's just given it to someone for sure.
