I humbly accept the title, and I am deeply touched (BASIL said that when I first arrived here)but want it to be known that this honour is granted only because I yak so much and I am in no way "above" the everyday poster be it "newbie" or whatever, I wish to thank all the good folk who have posted warm and encouraging messages to the wanderers of our land, (young and old) it is with extreme pleasure that I have seen this forum grow from an "ask the expert" position to "come and have a chat" the results are the same, information getting out to all and sundry, except this way is, to me, a hell of a lot freindlier, I am very proud of our progress with the "solo's section" it gives me extreme pleasure to see these people have an area "all of their own" just to go into, it gives an arena of "connection" that many solo people have lost and if I or any other member has encouraged one more to join in life then I am a very happy man indeed. I would ask everyone to please encourage at any chance the solo travellers of this world, I have watched newbies grow in to very well respected contributers to the forum and their knowledge, foresight, humour and dedication to the travel bug is nothing short of inspirational, their input on a daily basis is to be commended, the dedication of our right royal webmistress is to be known as nothing short of remarkable she is in all things "on the ball" and very much admired and respected in all things, absolutely anything that is asked of her majesty is almost immediately granted, and I for one humbly thank you Cindy, I have said many times that this is the only forum that I feel comfortable in, I would not join any others, they just dont have the "feel" of this one and for that reason, whether I am here or not, LONG MAY IT LIVE. and long may it continue to divulge much needed information to our fellow travellers. in short may the wind be always at your back, may the sun always shine favourably, and may the ground that you all walk upon rise to your footsteps, travel safe, travel far.

Nice sir, it is a good on Dave 06 and I am extremely happy to join as a member of this forum. Dave is also a combination of the member's car gallery. I may also continue with the best information for the travellers. Doesn't matter with the name but Sir is doing awesome work.
