My skill at reversing a van are not the best, despite practice. A suggested solution is to mount a tow ball/DO35 on the front of my Dmax. Im searching now for examples of such an arrangement. Anyone here know of when, where, or how its been done?

Permanent mounting is not legal. A receiver hitch could be attached to where the recovery points are located and then you could put the ball and mount in when required.

Did this year's ago to get my van into a tight spot, l put the bar off center a bit to the passenger side so when sitting in the driver's seat I could see down the side of the van.

Did the same many years ago on the front of a Nissan Patrol. I mounted the towball on to the bull bar.

Did this myself years ago BUT I would be very careful now as what you do may affect airbags which in turn may affect insurance etc. My suggestion would be keep practicing your reversing.
