I forgot to plug in the feed to the car and destroyed the plug ! Got a new cable and some connectors
A red wire does 12v , the white wire does ground
. Yellow wire is the tricky bit it has some copper braid
Does anyone know how to connect the yellow wire and the un insulated copper stuff ? There is silver paper stuff in the mix as well
Thanks

The copper braid and the silver paper are the shielding for the camera wires . This goes to ground.
Yellow is usually the camera feed wire which is shielded to stop interference with the camera signal.
hope this helps

Hi Jarrah,
I fitted and connected the caravan reverse camera using 4 pin aviation plug/socket and 4 core insulated cable with Red/Black/Yellow/Green or White wiring.
Used the same cabling from tow bar to car dash display.
Made up a removeable connecting cable from A-frame to tow bar. Two male and two female plugs/sockets.
Red 12v+, Black 12v-, Yellow Video, Green/White Audio (or disabled).
Connection was as per diagram.
