If anyone is thinking about towing a reasonable sized van along this route think again! We just travelled yesterday and the road conditions are nothing short of atrocious! LARGE pot holes in middle of road along the route, heaps of truck damage on road sides, road works with traffic lights in about three locations. The scenery is beautiful but not worth the driving conditions as you dont have a chance to take it in due to intense concentration. Double lines are a joke as you spend quarter of the time on wrong side of the road. This is road is a DISGRACE, god knows why we pay registration!!!!
