I wonder what the state of free and low cost camps are? A couple of years ago after
heavy rain out there some of the camps were still puddled and impossible for many months.
And even then, the tracks from bogged vehicles made it very difficult to find a reasonable site.
I remember many, many years ago I was stationed in the far NW corner of Qld. We were marooned
almost 4 months other than by private plane or chopper. Didn't matter too much because
I was sort of working as best we could. Wouldn't want that again!
What will it be like in a month in Western and Central Queensland both roadwise and
generally given the devastating floding.
Fully like to add my cash to the economies but camps and even the more flashy parks
I suspect will be a bit of a mess - and the roads - well who knows?

Would have thought that there would be lots to contribute from
people and travellers out there.

Will be months before this is back to normal. Maybe sometime in June, but not before.
I am confident there will be plenty of publicity when they are open to business

Cheers,
Peter
Thanks.
