Hi to all. I am wanting to do the trip from White Cliffs to Cameron Corner. No caravan, and driving a 2WD Isuzu MU-X Diesel.
I will appreciate any comments or suggestions about such a trip.
I would also be looking to "tag-a-long" with another between Tibooburra and the corner, Just as a precaution.

Unless there are still some effects from any recent rain, you won't have any problems with the roads. The last time we drove from Tibooburra to Cameron Corner (2016) we were in company with a 23ft caravan. It was just after lots of rain and there were still large quantities of water pooled in places. Notwithstanding, the caravan had no difficulties at all. These pics and short video clip are between Tibooburra and Cameron Corner.
A flooded low section of the road had a fully graded by-pass.
Fort Grey camp site in Sturt National Park.
Free gas BBQs.

Went to Cameron Corner in July last year with my 4WD MUX. Although I drove in 4WD (I always do on dirt), I met several 2WD vehicles and several caravans on the way.
Just a normal graded country dirt road in good condition.
It is not an outback "track" that you might think.
You should have no trouble going solo.
There are enough passing vehicles all the time to help if you do need help.

Note that the road west of Cameron Corner has been subject to some significant damage a while back and is still restricted to "4wd, under 3T and no towing". Pity, 'cos it is a great drive across the dunes.
