My mother in law is computor illiterate and is terribly afraid of technology. She has problems using her phone. They have no land line.
Recently, her husband was admitted to hospital for a few days. She had issues using her phone, which caused some issues.
We have been looking at the Big Purple phone and are wondering if anyone here has had experience with it? Maybe a friend or relative?
Cheers,
Collo.

I would have bought your friend a dictionary. Or perhaps a financial planning guide.

A few years back we had a device through Dodo that allowed an handset to be connected to the mobile network as my wife's mother could not use a mobile phone. I don't know if they still offer that service.
