We are new to caravanning and have been on the road for 9 days now, were from Newcastle and have been to South West Rocks, Nambucca Heads and now in Armidale. When we were heading to Armidale from Nambucca we encountered the big climb up to Dorrigo, what we were wondering is the best way back to Newcastle from Armidale without encountering any massive climbs up mountains on small roads, would the New England highway be out best bet?

Yes the New England Hwy is the shortest and easiest.
Safe travels.
