, I ran a new Twin fig8 B&S from the fridge (the connection in your pic) to the draw bar with a Red Anderson. I ran a new 8g B&S feed from my battery (under the drivers seat in a Jeep) to a RED Anderson plug next to the 7 pin plug.
I fitted a 75ah Bosch relay which is triggered by an ign on wire.
This means the fridge is only on 12v while the engine is running. Unlike some of the reports here about running a 3 way on 12v I have actually had a temp drop of 2-3 deg on a long run.
Hope this helps.

Hi 67HR, thanks for your reply
yes that's what I will do
but I wasn't sure what the four wires in the terminal block were for, so I went to the trouble of
pulling the fridge out to see there they went.
one pair went to house battery so I have removed that and replaced with Anderson plug wiring to vehicle

Yes, thats the right answer. They were never supposed to be wired to a battery. Don't forget to add a fuse like a Midi one.
1st photo shows the new wire and the thinner old stuff under it. Sorry it's doubled up
Could you explain why you used a 3 terminal trailer socket?

Hi, if you're referring to my pic of the 3 way grey anderson plug, we'll the xtra pin is for a blue wire ign feed. I future proofed the wiring in case I fitted a dc-dc charger to the van.
The std anderson plugs into the r/h side of the plug for charging the van battery.
Cheers

Hi Bukhouse, you haven't indicated what type of 3Way fridge you have.
If the fridge has AES (automatic energy selection) then you do need a permanent 12V feed for the electronics.
I can't see anyone having wired a 3Way fridge directly to the house batteries for normal operational purposes. Maybe to the input side of the Den's DC>DC charger (if fitted and connected to Tug).

Sorry Dick0, I never asked Bukhouse if his 3 way had AES, I took from the photo/ age of the back of the fridge it was same as mine.
