I bought a new monitor to replace an old 30 inch monitor, which replaced my previous 30 inch monitor.
Pretty basic stuff.
Why do I now get bombarded with ads for new monitors of all sizes.
I bought a new 30 inch monitor. It will probably last a decade.
Maybe I should start looking for hydrogen bombs & see what the internet BS has to offer!

I was interested Kings products, so subscribed, ended up with average 30 to 40 emails a day, took me a month to unsubscribe, had to ring a store, and abuse them to get those emails stopped, never again

Same here, bought two new pillows from spotlight a year ago and have been bombarded by their ads since. Rang the unsubscribe number, it's always disconnected.

When you purchase items, don't give your email address.

Once you purchase an item online or in person at times you will be asked for your Email & or Phone No. this is regarded as an automatic acceptance to receive notifications from the Store/s concerned.
Either way you will get Junk, but by Australian Law you must be able to "unsubscribe" this is found at the bottom of the notification and a simple click should "unsubscribe" you. Some will make you respond with text I have found these are usually based in other Countries.
But the law still requires them to act. Not supplying a email address or phone number usually won't help your purchase, I would suggest a secondary email address for all such transactions.

The advertising is not from the supplier Dell. They only want to sell their only products.
It is general advertising on the internet from all makes other than the one stated.
