I just went around all of window, door hinges, catches, towel rail, window shades and pull handles, about 40% needed a1/4 turn or so to tighten up.

Good advice, some things get under the radar.

Yes luckily I checked my brand spanking new motorbike, I picked up, and brought home on the trailer. I asked the dealer, if every nut bolt and screw was tightened to spec, after it was put together from being taken out of the crate, He said it had been thoroughly and properly been checked and done. He thought I was going to ride it home that day, but I turned up with a trailer. I got it home, was going to ride it the next day, but promptly got covid, was sick for 6 weeks, got over it, decided to go for a ride, but smart me, also decided to check every bolt. They were all loose, including the axel nuts, front and rear wheels. Not too mention, they over filled the engine oil by one litre. Most probably would have died had I not checked the bike. Obviously the bike will not be going back to that dealer for any services, or god forbid warranty work, have found a well known and very competent dealer and mechanic elsewhere.

Don't forget the awning rail bolts top and bottom. Also radio aerial, they all work loose!

And dont forget the wheel nuts. To check them, loosen them slightly and then tighten, using a torque wrench to ensure the correct tension.

If you aren't screwing, use Nyloc nuts, they are far better than original nuts.
I have swapped my nuts with Nyloc nuts, never had a failure.
When screwing use 243 Loctite, it stops things coming apart in unfortuitous situations.

The "loose screws" seem to be gathered over in the WDH thread...
