We have packed up our van , in reddiness to depart our CP home in the Whitsundays where we have lived since February 2020 at the onset of the Wu-flu..
Because of my partners medical condition has come to the end of physical intervention, therefore will rely on drug's to stave off the end. But the reason for the move is Cheryle has joined a world wide drug trial for her very rare medical condition.
Due to the early part of the drug trial, she is has to have monitoring session every two weeks for the next 3 months, and then every month for 3 more months, whilst we could have stayed in our Whitsunday home, but early amount of travel would be taxing on both of us, expense isn't an issue as the American drug company picks up the bill for everything.
So we have chosen to relocate to Brisbane, the next 24 weeks, we will be staying at 2 different CP's, in 6 week blocks, as this is their rules 6 weeks is there li it, but you can apply to extend for a additional 6 weeks, but with school holidays and Xmas in the 24 week period I just wanted everything locked in place, before leaving here.
At the end of the first 6 months, Cheryle has appointments every 3 months until September 2025, so that presents us the opportunity to recommence some form of grey nomading. Fed 2024 will see us travel to Vic and SA to catch up with family and friend, then returning to Brisbane in April 2024.
Our covered wagon is heading down the Bruce Highway today with a few overnight before arriving in Brisbane Saturday.

Purely curious - what parks have you chosen in Brissy?

Toorbul amd Beachmere both are owned by the Morten Bay council and operated contractors, others also owned by the council in the area, are Donneybrook, Bongaree and Bells.

"Toorbul and Beachmere"
Thanks.
Both seem to be nice parks with reasonable weekly site fees.
