I went on Fords webpages, to look at the options for purchasing a F150.
Bugger that's another one off the doable list, the problems are :-
No diesel option V6 petrol only.
No manual gearbox auto only.
No single oe extra cab option only dual cab.
But you do have have an option of short or long tub.
Looks like its becoming the end of the manual gearbox, and diesel slowly becoming a non option also.
Crikey if a bloke wants a manual, he might have to consider a SeventyNiner, with a suspension alteration for a softer ride.

Yes Graham, you may well prefer a softer ride, but at least if you bought a 79 (Rare as hens teeth) youd have real 4wd that can tow real weights. Cheers

Its got bugger all to do with real 4wding or tow weight, its all about manual gearbox and diesel engine.

If you're not too fussed about real 4wd or towing REAL weights there still is a Triton manual diesel cab-chassis available, with claimed 3000kg towing capacity.
I will say no more except "Good luck in your search", unless you again decide that this has "bugger all" to do with your research?
Hard to help those who don't want to be helped. Cheers

....and do not forget Isuzu NPS (4x4, manual gear box, 5.2 litre diesel) Life of vehicle/value - excellent potential .

Unfortunately unsuitable as the other half would have difficulty getting in and out.

Hi Graham, Whilst not wishing to be seen to have an unhealthy interest in these, in my opinion, inferior vehicles, in an effort to help a fellow GN I did a bit of a search.
This may help you?
Fine vehicle is single cab, 4x4, is manual, and has a diesel engine.
First one is extra-cab. Good luck in your search. Cheers
