Our fridge running on gas is not cooling the fridge only the freezer.
Even that is not getting very cold.
Can anyone help solve this problem? It has only just happened when van used earlier this week.
Thank you.

Could be your heating gas flame is not hot enough. Usually caused by scale falling down the Exhaust flue onto the burner tube and distorting the flame.
Few other possibilities with the gas flame. But have a look and see if you can see the flame form and its colour.
See this video and look up some others on the Subject.
But oviously just getting the fridge serviced is an option.
Mostly Likely a Blocked Jet.
If the fridge has had 5 or 6 years of use, I would look at having the regulator and hoses between the Reg and gas bottles changed as well.
Hi Creena;
You haven't mentioned where you are, we made a trip to Darwin many years ago and our Fridge would not get cold; we had to have additional fans fitted to the cooling coils; worked like a treat after that.
Good luck

Maybe the fridge is exposed to hot sun on the outside.
A shade sail fitted to a sail track may help.

Three way fridges will only reduce so many degrees below ambient temperature. Some are "Tropical" rated.
From Dometic site; Ideally, you want to look for a T Rating (tropical), which is designed and rated to work up to 43 degrees C. All of the Dometic RM range of fridges are T rated, except the RM2350, RM2355 and RM8501, which are ST rated (designed to operate up to 38 degrees C).
The ambient temperature in a caravan's fridge bay with direct sun on side of van would in all likelihood exceed 50 degrees C.

These fridges work by gravity puling liquid ammonia down through a small nozzel into a larger diameter pipe inside the freezer compartment, expansion and phase change from liquid to gas pulls in heat.
If not enough liquid ammonia is gathering at the top (low heat in boiler/separator or bad angle of up pipe causing early condensation or top pipe over heated by sun allowing dripping back) the flow is greatly reduced.
Setup level and shaded. Add extra fans to cool top pipe. RTFM.
