ABCRadio ratings drop, managements solution hire consultants to work out why.
You don't need a consultant, just get rid of all the lefty presenters, crikey that would leave only one unbiased presenter, Macca.

Macca on a Sunday morning the best way to start a day - I also have most of his books which are mainly anecdotal of his radio show. Good for a leisurely read in the bush.
The ABC,s 24 News overnight does give a more balanced perspective, and The Pacific Sports Show an interesting look into Sport in the Pacific Regions.

Macca is far from unbiased - but I still enjoy his show.
As far as ABC ratings go, I have no idea - but I expect they probably plummeted last night after Sarah Ferguson's truly appalling interview with the Russian Ambassador to Australia. It was THE worst interview I think I have ever seen. And saying that infers nothing about my views on the topic in question, it was just a complete waste of time in regard to providing the viewer with anything of value & totally unprofessional .......... & I am an ABC fan.

Exactly. 100% agreement on both points ... I too am an ABC fan.

yeah Macca is biased, in favor of rural Australia.
When was the last time you saw Laura Tingle do a show from a small country town like Dirranbandi.
I'd rather listen to Ray Hadley than some lefty ABC presenter, alas even news presenters from 7, 9 and 10 are agenda commentators and not journalists presenting balanced reporting.

Yes, I think you nailed it.
Our news services and reporting are more about sensationalism on most commercial stations and woke supporting on the ABC.

Why? They are only stating their opinions. Right or Wrong.
We have to stop denigrating other people for their opinions. Especially name calling. You need to say what they said or did wrong and what was so horrific. (in your opinion) And also consider having a little bit of tolerance.

In defence of Ray he's a broadcaster in the mould of a shock jock, where he is like a dog with a bone when an issue is right or wrong, he defends his position with facts and passion.
And foremost he is an entertainer, and thats why he has one of the highest rating radio programs.

I enjoy listening to Ray, dont always agree with him. He does get passionate about some of his subjects and he will cop it on the chin when shown the error of his ways.

Sarah Ferguson does not belong on the ABC. She belongs on a commercial channel .She is a clone of a shock jock and is bringing 7:30 way down with her
'Gotcha' style of interview.
You could say Leigh Sales was the same but she has class that ferguson does not and never will.

Just finished watching tonight's episode of Q&A, something that I rarely do since S Grant took over the show.
I think that it should be moved to NITV.

On a vaguely related note. Has anybody else noticed that the crap that commercial TV offers during the week is now replayed ad nauseum over the weekend.
Probably explains why I watch less and less TV these days.

Yes rubbish since Grant took over. Also seems that between Grant and Ferguson, ABC is heading down the toilet highway. Leave that sensationalism and 'Got'ya' to the commercial channels.
Wonder if Grant is a user of fake tan? Trump certainly is.

Yes, maybe Grant uses a similar product to DT.
A google will bring up many candid shots of the presenter in days gone by and pics from other angles easily showing a make up line.

His mission in life seems to be driving a wedge between black and white society.

Yes, it is unfortunate.
Q and A has become quite embarrassing which is a direct reflection on how the current ABC is being managed.
