The one about the hole reminded me..... A bloke (let's call him Patty) was walking down a country road and spotted a sign "potato digger wanted" so he applied for the job. The farmer asked if he was experienced, to which Patty said "never done it before but I'm a quick learner". So the farmer took him into the paddock and showed him how you dig the fork in, and there are the spuds, "just put them in those sacks over there". "Easy" said Patty. The farmer said that when he was finished to come up to the house and he would pay him. Hours passed, it got dark, and another hour passed. Finally Patty knocked on the door and appeared absolutely covered in mud and exhausted. The farmer asked how he went, to which Patty replied "not so well, I'm down 20 feet already and still haven't found another spud"!! Boom, Boom.
