I remember black & white television & watching the moon landing. Primary school after hours we launched rockets from the local park with mice that parachuted & all survived. Also made our own home made explosives. There was never a single accident between all of us.
I reckon it we had the electronics we would have made the rockets guided as there were quite a few kids fiddling around with electronics.
The Eagle's onboard computer back then was designed to reboot in 1 second. It would be nice if we had that level of efficient technology today.

Hi ,yep remember most of them too .Back in the UK, `sky ray` was called a `rocket` and your `Splice` was a `Mivi` .Strawberry ,and also i think pineapple flavour outside with vanilla icecream inside . Times tables in primary school repeated labouriously to the teacher ,and if you got them right a pick out the sweet jar .Good times in the holidays playing down the fields ,climbing and making swings on trees ,building camps ,all now forbidden ,so the kids don`t hurt themselves !
As for the instamatic i still have one, someware amongst 60+yrs of accumulated `stuff`.
One things for sure is that we were never bored ,allways stuff to do , not like the brain dead zombies just staring at there devices .
