The more remote the better.
I remember once we had some nice wine & later realised we had 7 cheeses.
Obviously finished off with freshly hand ground coffee.

Deep in a forest in western central Victoria. Sitting by my van 30m from a dam, chatting on Amateur Radio, drinking a light white wine, no visitors since I arrived here four weeks past, watching the wood ducks and contemplating the visit of a long time female friend in a few weeks. Life is very good.

Finished putting the Christmas decorations up today, fully stocked up with food & drinks. Presents under the tree. Looking forward to our family coming on Christmas Day. Two years ago we had Christmas by ourselves, talking to our family on Skype. Recently found some beautiful Italian white wine varieties, Fiano & Grillo.
Favourite cheese with a red, English Stilton.

Well I'm impressed.
Please keep us informed on a daily basis because none of us have been overseas before.

Not sure if there is a bit of sarcasm being commented on here, out of the blue, this is what causes drama.

I was in Japan in 1982, Kyoto was one of my favourite cities.
In those days the Japanese had basically never seen a person with blond hair. The girls were all over me. If only it lasted... both!

When you get home you might like to try a beer at the Deception Bay Pub, and Fish and Chips from Fisherman's Daughter on D Bay Road. Lot cheaper too! Enjoy your adventure in Yapan. Cheers

Yep Bob, It was a bit disapointing only two days. According to the commentary pundits the wicket was far too green. Matthew Haydon said that he had never seen a wicket like it at the Gabba.
The MCG match will give us a better idea of each sides capabilities I reckon. If it goes for five days I fear that my Shiraz and cheese consumption will reach a new high although, at my age, in the immortal words of Clark Gable, "I don't give a damn"!!!!
Stay safe mate.

The Beetota Advocate reckoned they stole a piece of Daintree Forest and used it as a drop in pitch.
