It gets better: it appears Medibank Private don't actually know if data was stolen or not. They know someone got into their system but they no idea what they did.
However the hackers are threatening to release the medical data of 1000 prominent Australians so I image the authorities will actually put some effort into doing something as opposed to the situation with the 10,000,000 plebs whose data was stolen from Optus.
"Now Sir, if you wouldn't mind filling in this form with all your personal, medical and financial details we'll ensure that, in due course, it's published on the internet."

I've changed my bank details and cancelled my card and am going to pay my bills at the post office, because I'm sick of this s--t
The Age says Medibank Private has been hacked (200GB) and they are threatening to release data - ho hum:
