Morning all, I have an electric awning and want to attach a side shade to both ends, how do you attach the side awning? I don't really want to fit anti flapping kit.
I've seen the anti flap attachments but you need a ridge pole to attach it to.
I note the spreader arms of the awning a very lightweight so they would only be able to carry a very light side shade - you could make a side shade to fit awning, out of light Sarlon shade mesh or cotton, quite easily; Cut fabric to desired size and shape and sew several straps of Velcro to top edge of side awning to loop over the top support (side) arms. You would need to sew/attach eyelet holes on bottom of your side awning to allow it to be fastened down with tent pegs.
