Hi Craig. Lovely picture, but without being 100% sure I believe that that car is not a 79, for several reasons. Happy to be corrected by anybody who knows about these cars, but at this stage I'll refrain from posting my reasons. It's certainly not a V8.Cheers

Whoops on A B C, it comes up as Unregistered 1988 Toyota(last rego 2019). Supposedly showing the state of Tanami Track and the need for it to be sealed.

Personally I'm against the sealing of many of the outback trails etc, as part of the experience is overcoming the obstacles they may present. There already are enough pretenders and mass debaters infiltrating the bush. Thought the "LDV" was early '90s, so thanks for that. At 34 years old it's done well!

Get rid of the 79 Yobarr and get one of these......
I just browsed the Lloyds site given in the news link. I chuckled at the three "in and out" drain holes through the floor of the front passenger side. Easily plated over, of course.

Just made some discreet enquiries and I have been reliably informed that the holes are provided to cater for spilt beer. Cheers
