I arranged to dine out with friends last night. I arrived at the restaurant early; none of my friends had arrived yet. The restaurant manager said to me, "Would you mind waiting a bit?".  I replied, "Sure, no problem." "Great!", he said. He then gave me a pad and pen and said, "Go and take table 9's orders."

I was in a restaurant once & it was taking so long & I could clearly see some issues with management. I ordered a pizza & had it delivered. It sent a "subtle" message to the complete failure of this establishment. I didn't eat the meal that finally arrived just in case they spat in it.
