My ultimate restaurant meal, for a special occasion such as my birthday, begins with a king prawn ****tail followed by lobster mornay on a bed of wild rice, strawberry crepes for dessert and ending with a strong black coffee plus a Baileys Irish Cream.

I don't care about the food. Being with family and good friends is the best bit. Maybe some roast veges with a few greens and a couple of glasses of decent ale or decent Shiraz.

Start with a few fresh oysters then continue with nibbles of good quality "finger food" from as many countries as possible (Asia, Europe, Middle East , South America , Africa) accompanied by a good White Wine and or an IPA beer while being able to mingle/converse (not sit in the one place ) with as many friends, family and aquaintances as possible in a quiet peaceful atmosphere. It all depends on the restaurant, time of day and my mood. Sometimes I'd like a baked dinner or seafood; sometimes smoked salmon, mayonnaise, avocado and maybe some other vegetables on a sandwich; a well cooked bacon and eggs on English muffins is very satisfying for breakfast; maybe Chinese food, or Thai food, Indian food, Napalese, et cetera.
