www.ebay.com.au/itm/144355429991 Any amount for sale on ebay. Also if you keep the unit alive contiously when not in use they seem to fail. I have an isolating switch for the heater when not being used.

Use the remote control?
Unfortunately the display used in these control panels has a short life, they dim over time to a point where they are unreadable however spares are readily for about $20 I think.
The display for mine is tucked away under the bed next to the heater, I almost never use it instead using the remote control to provide on/off and temperature increase/decrease. Other than the initial setup and error codes the display is not a lot of use.

I installed a cheap Ebay Chinese diesel air heater in my van and the control panel wouldn't light up and the heater was dead. Checked out power supply and all good. Pulled Control Panel apart and found earth wire connection to circuit board broken. Soldered it back together, managed to get Control Panel together OK and now heater works perfectly. Earth wire original soldered connection very poor, almost a "dry" joint and a little flexing of Control Panel cable during installation caused joint to fail.
Cheers,
Roy

There's a Chinese diesel heater forum on Facebook you can join for good advice. Can't recall name but a Google search will soon find it.

I bought one of these Chink heaters and it works fine the fuel line is crap. But just went to the Caravan & Camping Show and the $2000+ EU units look the same as the one I bought.
Different coloured plastics, the magnetic fuel pump & rubber mount same the exhaust system was the same on one of the units as was the intake but the control units were not.
However $146.00 Chinese copy from eBay vs $2450 for a European brand and parts are sold on a FB Market place, not a bad deal.
