If you have a stop light globe blown cruise won,t work, check the interior fuse compartment a cruise related fuse, owners handbook will have a list of what each fuse does.

Look at other fuses. Suggest first check hazard light fuse.
On many newer vehicles, blown fuses do strange things and (in Pajeros) cause really strange, seemingly unrelated indicator lights appear on the dash instruments.

Faulty wheel turning sensors will also effect cruise control and four wheel drive too.

2 switches on the brake pedal, stop light & cruise cutout switch, remove and check if they are working with a multimeter, if manual trans. will have switch on clutch pedal, some pedal switches are adustable.
