Hi all, fairly new to this site. Been camping our whole lives but now we do it in comfort. We are the FAR adventurers Fiona, Alan and Roxy the dog and we have a 13ft Adventurer caravan. Home base is near Mildura in Victoria.
I'm wondering if anyone knows where you can get maps and camping information for state Forrests in Queensland? Bronze does not have the info I am looking for and whilst google has the map it does not have 4wd track or camping info. The government site seems to only list National Parks which are a no go for us with the dog on board. Oh and I am looking for desk top size not on mobile device
Qld parks &wildlife list all parks (National, State Forests & Conservation) in alphabetical order, along with maps that cover whatever road you need to get to a campsite.
Thanks, I looked a their site before posting and could only find National Parks. I will look again maybe I have a filter on.
Nope, just checked again. Cannot find any of the ones I am looking for. Redrock State Forest, Blair Athol state forest or Apsley State forest. :(

I don't believe there are any camping or day use facilities offered in the locations you mention. There were "public" tracks through Blair Athol State Park decades ago but not sure about Apsley and Redrock. Qld has a number of state forests and National Parks that don't offer facilities and are effectively inaccessible.

I just googled Red Rock SF, and the only thing that came up shows that forest, and the other 2 you mention, as being part of Byfield National Park. That may be why you cannot find individual sites for those you seek.
The Red Rock mention noted a tent camp only.

Thanks. I doubt they are part of Byfield as they are 100s of klms away from there. More likely just no camping & no public access.

Redrock State Forest (Peak Downs?) and Red Rock Camping Ground in Byfield NP are totally different places and as stated they are. There are no camping facilities or facilities in general at Redrock State Forest.
