Hey all, Im looking to meter my solar input so I have an idea of voltage and current from a 160W panel feeding into the dual battery.
I dont particularly want to use an in line meter that is plug and play with Andersons, would prefer something recessed that I can back connect with #8 cables.
Any one point me in the right direction?

Get a couple of panel meters & stick in a switch to bypass if you want.
Other than controller all from Jaycar (I usually run the solar panels two in series)

Hi
You can do that OK easy enough. But if you want to use an all in one meter, there are lots available on ebay.
There are other types if you search. I might suggest an Australian supplier is best at the moment.

There is an electronic module that does what you want and more, including consumption over time. It cycles through the various measurements. I will look it up and post the details later on today.
