Hi can any one help I have an ef2400is & the stator is gone an Australian one is around $750 but I can get one from America for $129 US but no one can tell me if it is compatible with our model or if it will put out 230volts or only put out 110volts does anyone out there know

My personal experience with Inverter generators is if the Stator is burnt out , theres a fair chance the Inverter has a short circuit in it that burnt the windings. I have re wound the burnt windings on one & its easy to do.
Hi DeBe the stator doesn't look burnt out like your pictures it looks perfectly fine but I had it checked out and was told it was dead it has aluminium windings if that makes any difference

If it has Aluminum windings then its very cheap construction (surprising for an expensive generator) Even the cheap generators use copper windings.

Also the Stator voltage from America will be too low as it will be for 110V.

US is not only 110V but 60Hz. Totally unsuitable.
But a good auto electrician should be able to repair it. They can repair alternators and starter motors.

denno I have a yamaha that wont start it wasnt used much ,and I dont know whats wrong with it I was going to advertise it for $100
I purchased a honda and couldnt be bothered getting it repaired.

Its been left outside a couple yrs so looks rough , but it was never used much

My sister and brother in law are not back yet with your geny they get back next week so it will be after easter and maybe even anzac day weekend before I get to put them together I will send a post to let you know how I go
